Digital Welfare Program

Date: 10/22/2019 10-11: 30

Venue: MOM Cultural Center Dome Hall (1124 Budapest Csörsz u. 8.)
During the implementation of the Digital Welfare Program (DJP), we are constantly striving to create forums for a wide range of social dialogue, counting on the participation and cooperation of professional, social, advocacy and scientific organizations. Since April 2016, we have organized the Digital Welfare Forum 31 times, the aim of which is to provide a framework for professional and social consultation in the implementation of the tasks of the Digital Welfare Program. The primary objective of the Gigabit Hungary Strategy (GHS) is to be the first in Hungary to build an extremely high-bandwidth data transmission network among the EU Member States, which, by 2025 (or 2030), is not expected to create a restraint that would prevent end-users from using data traffic capacity
; in addition, the strategy defines the related government goals and the measures, resources and responsibilities required to achieve them.
The strategy is formally justified by the European Commission’s relevant EU-level strategy entitled “Interconnection for a Competitive Digital Single Market – Towards a Gigabit European Information Society”, and in practical terms, regardless of the initial conditions, an extremely large increase in data traffic is expected – the foundations of which are already visible today.
The strategy is formally justified by the relevant EU-level strategy of the European Commission entitled “Connectivity for a competitive digital single market – Towards a European information society based on gigabytes” and the foundations of which are already visible today.
